1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Auto Best Co., Ltd (“Autobest”, “we”, “our”, “us”), including purchases made via our website, email, phone, WhatsApp, or other communication channels.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.



2. Intellectual Property

All website content (images, text, logos, listings) is owned by Autobest and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.



3. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to such processing.



4. Nature of Business (Important)

Autobest operates as:

  1. A vehicle exporter
  2. An auction purchasing agent 

Vehicles are often used, auction-grade units, and may have wear, defects, or undisclosed conditions typical of auction vehicles.



5. Vehicle Condition & Disclaimer

  1. Vehicles are sold “as-is, where-is” unless otherwise agreed in writing
  2. Information (inspection sheets, photos, descriptions) is provided for reference only
  3. Autobest does not guarantee mechanical condition, mileage accuracy, or suitability for use
  4. Customers accept risks associated with used vehicle purchases


6. Pricing & Orders

  1. Prices are subject to change without notice
  2. Orders may be rejected or cancelled due to: Pricing errors, Stock unavailability, Customer information issues


7. Payment Terms

Standard Payment Structure
  1. 50% advance deposit required before auction bidding
  2. Remaining balance payable after shipment confirmation
Payment Deadlines
  1. Full payment must be completed before document release
  2. Failure to pay may result in:
                 Order cancellation
                 Forfeiture of deposit
                 Resale of vehicle
Additional Costs

Customer is responsible for:

  1. Bank charges
  2. Currency conversion fees
  3. Import duties, taxes, and clearance costs


8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Before Auction (Important)
  1. Cancellation must be requested at least 10 minutes before auction start
  2. Refund: 100% refundable, minus: Bank charges, Transaction fees


After Auction Purchase
  1. Once a vehicle is successfully purchased:
  2. Cancellation is not free
  3. The following may be deducted:
                Auction fees
                Cancellation penalties
                Administrative costs


Refund Options

Customers may choose:

  1. Refund after deductions OR
  2. Keep deposit as credit for future purchase


    9. Shipping & Delivery

    1. Vehicles are shipped via third-party carriers
    2. Delivery is deemed complete when handed to the carrier
    Risk Transfer
    • Risk transfers to customer upon handover to carrier

    Not Liable For
    1. Shipping delays
    2. Damage or loss during transit
    3. Carrier errors

    Customers are strongly advised to purchase marine insurance.



    10. Import Responsibility

    You are fully responsible for:

    1. Compliance with your country’s import laws
    2. Vehicle eligibility (age, emission, steering side)
    3. Customs clearance and taxes

    Autobest is not responsible for:

    1. Entry rejection
    2. Storage (demurrage) charges


    11. Documents

    1. Export documents are released only after full payment
    2. Autobest is not liable for courier delays or document loss once dispatched


    12. Limitation of Liability

    To the extent permitted by law:

    1. Autobest is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
    2. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the vehicle

    Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law (e.g., fraud, willful misconduct).



    13. Third-Party Services

    Banks, auction houses, and shipping companies are independent third parties. Autobest is not responsible for their actions or performance.



    14. Anti-Social Forces Policy

    Autobest maintains zero tolerance toward anti-social forces and complies with Japanese regulatory expectations. Transactions with such parties will be refused or terminated.



    15. Anti-Corruption

    We comply with international anti-bribery laws. Any unlawful payment or request will result in termination of business.



    16. Export Control Compliance

    Customers must ensure compliance with export/import regulations. Providing false information may result in cancellation and legal liability.



    17. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify Autobest against claims arising from:

    1. Misuse of services
    2. Violation of laws
    3. Breach of these Terms


    18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
    Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Fukuoka District Court.



    19. Updates to Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

Q. How do i buy a car from Japan through Autobest?

You select a vehicle or request us to bid at auction. We inspect available data, place bids on your behalf, and once successful, proceed with payment and shipping.

Q. Are auction vehicles reliable?

Most vehicles are used and sold through auctions. They may have wear, repairs, or minor defects. We provide inspection reports, live video proof, but vehicles are sold as-is.

Q. Can i request specific vehicles from auctions?

Yes, you can send us your requirements (make, model, budget), and we will search and bid for you.

Q. What is an auction grade?

Auction grade is a condition rating given by inspectors in Japan (e.g., Grade 4, 3.5, R). It helps estimate the vehicle’s condition but is not a guarantee.

Q. Can i cancel my order before auction?

Yes. If you cancel at least 10 minutes before auction start, your deposit is fully refundable after deducting bank and transaction charges.

  3. Administrative costs

will be deducted before refund.

Q. Can i keep my deposit for another vehicle instead of a refund?

Yes. You can choose to transfer your deposit to your next purchase without losing value (excluding already incurred charges).

Q. How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds are usually processed within 3–7 business days, depending on banking systems.

Q. Are bank charges included in the price?

No. All bank transfer and transaction fees must be paid by the customer.
